The 68th Tony Awards showed everyone that Broadway can still deliver. The show was chock full of great moments.

Early performances included an impressive rendition of “One Day More” by the cast of “Les Miserables,” along with a medley from “Aladdin.” And as Jackman said, the “wickedly talented” Idina Menzel took on a performance from “If/Then.”

Fantasia starred in Broadway’s After Midnight, set against a narrative of Langston Hughes’ poetry, After Midnight celebrates Duke Ellington’s years at Harlem’s famed Cotton Club using his original arrangements.

Krystal stars in Motown. Motown tells the story of the Berry’ Gordy’s legendary label in the early days.

4. Gloria Estefan and Emilio Estefan

Gloria and Emilio will have a play called On Your Feet. It will cover Estefan’s early years in Miami, her recovery from a near fatal accident in 1990 and her long career as a performer.

Idina Menzel hit the Radio City Music Hall stage with a ballad from If/Then, the musical in which she currently stars opposite her Rent cohort Anthony Raap.
