(Washington State, US)-If you’ve ever wondered how much good those large poles do that protect walkways in parking lots, this story should confirm their necessity.
As a family, including a 6-year-old girl, was walking outside a convenience store this past Sunday, a tragedy was narrowly-“miraculously”-averted.
The little girl was walking along, weaving in and out of the protective poles at the end of each parking space, when suddenly a car sped out of control in reverse directly in the path of the child. Hitting the pole, the car was pushed up in the air against the side of the building, right over the head of the girl.
Fearing the worst, her family ran to her, and was amazed to see her walk away from the wrecked car, without a scratch.
