After several reports recently suggested that the 27-year-old was undergoing artificial insemination to conceive a child with her NBA star husband Lamar Odom, Kardashian took the time to publicly refute the claims.

“Khloe has been meeting with fertility doctors in Dallas, and Lamar has been going with her to several appointments,” a source allegedly told Radar Online prior to Kardashian’s recent tweet.

On their spin-off reality series “Khloe & Lamar,” the couple have openly discussed their struggles to conceive.

“Because there seems to be much speculation, here is my statement … I am not at this time in my life considering any type of fertility treatments, If and when I do, I will shout it from the rooftops but for now its in Gods hands,” the reality star added.

In a bid to raise awareness, the couple who have been married for over two years will allegedly film their battle to conceive for the new season of their show.

For healthy women, fertility peaks in their mid 20s, begins declining at age 27, then nosedives around age 37. If you are in your mid 30s or older and trying to conceive, you need to be very pointed in your efforts. The American Society of Reproductive Medicine advises women age 35 or older to consult a fertility specialist if they fail to get pregnant after six months of unprotected intercourse. Women ages 37 to 40 should wait no longer than three months.
