Gospel News This Week:Deitrick Haddon’s Movie

Gospel artists are  hitting the road  for Summer 2010.

Marvin Sapp will perform at the Sixth Annual Gospel Festival will be held on June 26, 2010 at the San Diego County Fair. There will be more that 30 gospel music artists performing including Marvin Sapp and J. Moss. The show is free with fair admission. Reserved seating is available through Ticketmaster.

Grammy winning gospel music artist Myron Butler will be producing Tonya Baker’s first live recording on July 23, 2010 at The Ginghamsburg Church in Dayton, OH. Admission will be free. “I would be lying if I said I weren’t a bit nervous,” the singer confesses.

“There’s nothing like the live experience. You feel the energy from the people and the presence of God in the place. Most importantly, I don’t want the people to just come looking for a great show – but an encounter with God.”

It is very exciting to see a Christian based film stir up as much attention as Deitrick Haddon’s movie The Blessed and Cursed Road Tour has been creating. The artists involved have been making appearances across the country in support of the DVD and soundtrack.
