100 Black Men of America, Inc. (The 100) is the world’s largest network of Black male mentors. Brian Pauling, the President & CEO talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about the month of January being National Mentoring month and how those searching for a mentor can get involved.

“Mentoring is more than just being a role model. It’s getting to know the person you’re with. Understanding where they’re strong and helping them to achieve that. If you find someone that has accomplished something that you like and just ask them,” Pauling said.

Interested in finding a mentor? There are over 100 chapters in the United States, London, England and the Caribbean that provide services in the areas of Mentoring, Education, Health and Wellness, Economic Empowerment and Leadership Development.
