Jennifer Hudson has had an undeniably busy year. When she sits down to reflect, she realized that it has been a year filled with challenges,emotional swings and undeniable sadness and happiness. Those emotional moments have led her to some of the biggest moments any woman can ask for. One of the biggest moments was singing for Pope Francis during his New York visit this summer.

Now, she is preparing to play Shug Avery in a revival of the musical, “The Color Purple.” She is truly headed for more blessings and a possibly Tony Award. She will a lead in the new Spike Lee film Chiraq. The film is due to hit screens on December 4, 2015.
