Sunday Best Episode 6

Source: Promotional / BET

This week on ‘Sunday Best,’ judges Donnie McClurkin, Kierra Sheard and Yolanda Adams are now down to the semi finals with this episode. Three voices were left instead of the traditional two to the shock of many fans last week. Kirk Franklin said it was the first time this had ever happened before.  The artists were so good this season that they had to go to three instead of two. Anthony Brown  opened the show with singing ‘Worth’ with Donnie McClurkin. William Murphy was the guest performers this week.

The theme  this week was ‘Let The Church Say Amen’. When we say amen, we are committing to believing  that we believe. It is the affirmation of God’s truth in our life as believers.

Zebulon Ellis chose ‘He’s Right On Time’ by Daryl Coley. This song was originally on a live album released in 1990. Zebulon said this song was where ministry met artistry.  Kirk just shook his hand at the end of the song.

Donnie McClurkin: I do understand the message you gave. It came straight from the throne Brother you can sing anything you want to sing.

Kierra Sheard: I can’t wait to see what you are going to do. You have confidence.

Yolanda Adams: I’m jut glad we are not voting.

Clifton Ross III  chose  ‘Incredible God, Incredible Praise’ by JJ Hairston and tailored the  song perfectly.

Donnie McClurkin: There is nothing I can say.

Kierra Sheard: It was great. I am  fan.

Yolanda Adams: I love your voice.

Dathan Thigpen chose ‘Blessed’ by  Fred Hammond and turned the song into a full praise break that had the audience and judges jumping.

Donnie McClurkin:Donne just continued the song and broke into praise.

Kierra Sheard: She loved him.

Yolanda Adams: Yolanda just shook her hand in prayer.

Kim Burrell performed her new song ‘I Stretch My Hand To Thee’. She gave testimony about her mother’s death, her divorce and her belief that God is still there and she trust him.

The final three closed the show singing with William Murphy his song “It’s Working”. The song triumphs God’s blessings on us because he will bless what we sow.

It is  time for us to vote!  Voting began at the end of the show. Who is your favorite? Who do you think will win? Next  week is the season finale.
