90% in U.S. Good supply is genetically modified. Best to eat Ezekiel bread, cereal because it is made of whole, unprocessed grains. For many people sometimes even whole wheat can cause weight-gain, especially in the belly area.
Are eating left over a good or bad? I like them but my family does not.
Eating left-overs is fine. Make sure you follow storage recommendations for left-over food.
Is it safe to drink dandelion root tea everyday? If so how many cups per day?
Drinking dandelion tea can help to remove toxic build- up in the body especially in the belly area b/c it improves liver function. Safe to drink, daily… 3-4 cups/D for results. Cut back to occasional use after 3-4 wks.

Why animal protein is worse than protein from any source, also why (according to this study) cutting back on protein is recommended for 50-64 year olds, but increasing protein intake for those 65 & older is protective.
Bottom line? The older we get- it is best to restrict calories from all food sources, eat diet rich in colorful veggies & fruit, with smaller amounts of whole, unprocessed grains and lean protein.
But I thought protein were good for you? My doctor told me to try to get at least 50 grams a day.

Good morning Dr. Ro, is there a difference in consuming your vegetables by juicing versus eating veggies cooked? Tried juicing and I do not like the taste of kale, celery and cucumber as a juice.
Juicing does preserve nutrients, but steaming veggies is just as good.

Eat complex carbs with protein in same meal (start with breakfast) the combination keeps you satiated and feeling full for longer periods of time.
Doctor today I am having three pieces of turkey bacon and two scrambled eggs for breakfast. For lunch two thin slices of roasted turkey on wheat. Is that to much meat? I had the same thing yesterday and Monday.
No, it’s fine. Add beans as a protein source for dinner on days when you have 2 servings of meat In earlier meals.

V-8 juice is a good vegetable option. Choose low-sodium though -as canned tomato and vegetable juice can be high in sodium.
