While his birth, childhood, later years and death are all well documented in the gospels of the New Testament, a question mark continues to hang over how Jesus spent his time between the ages of 0 to 12 and 12 to 30. This baffling gap spans the period that stretches from his preaching in a temple as a young boy of 13, right up to the point at which, as a grown man, he first met John the Baptist.
Fall television season is keeping up with the new bible trend. Well, Fox is going to jump into that water with ‘Nazareth’ and Lifetime is going to create ‘The One’.
Our friends at Christianity Today received word that a new show is in the works. Nazareth will be produced by David Franzoni – who wrote the screenplay for the 2000 epic Gladiator – Bob Cooper, Jamie Campbell and Joel Wilson. Further details about the project have not yet been released.
Over the years there have been many fictionalized accounts which include the highly successful Anne Rice Trilogy.
We will see how it pans out.
