No one in the Monday Night RAW audience could ever imagine that it would be his final time in the ring. Wrestling icon and newly inducted member of the WWE Hall of Fame, The Ultimate Warrior died last night in an Arizona hotel. He was 54.
Born Jim Hellwig, the wrestler changed his name to “Warrior” in 1992. He addressed his legion of “warriors” Monday, in a chilling speech that will now play immortal:
