As I collected the photos to compose this gallery, I was pained by the senselessness of this tragedy. Whatever grievances the shooter, Nadal Hasan, had against the U.S. Army, whatever political or religious affiliations he held could not justify the grief he authored at Fort Hood this week. I don’t know if it was his intent to time his attack so close to veteran’s day. But time it and execute it he did. And now our nation mourns and the families of the slain soldiers grieve. The photos below capture the pain of those affected by this horrible event. Take time to look at each one. Identify with the pain these survivors must feel. Please pray for the people in the photos, particularly the families who lost their loved ones.
