After all the hype surrounding actress Sofia Vergara’s new show, “Killer Women”, it’s a little disappointing that it was canceled after only two episodes.
After two weeks of bad ratings (and equally bad reviews), the show was pulled from ABC’s lineup. It was slated as the second lowest-rated premiere, coming in at 0.9 points in the first episode and falling to 0.7 points in its second episode. The lowest-rated premiere was ABC’s “Assets”, which was immediately canceled.
Vergara’s show was based off of an Argentinian crime drama called “Mujeres Asesinas”. “Mind Games”, a new show starring Christian Slater, was moved up to premiere on Feb. 25 to take the place of “Killer Women”. ABC will continue to air the show until “Mind Games” is slated to begin during the midseason schedule.
