Mathew Knowles’ camp is denying claims that he’s fallen behind on child support payments for his son with his former mistress Alexsandra Wright.

Back in 2010, Mathew agreed to pay $12,000 a month in support for his 3-year-old son Nixon, and by all accounts he’d been keeping up with that agreement for a couple of years. TheBoombox.com reports, however, that Alexsandra has accused Mathew of skipping his last two monthly payments and that he allegedly owes her $24,000.

Now Mathew’s legal team has issued a statement to Sister 2 Sister denying Alexsandra’s claims.

“There have been several media reports [this week] suggesting that Mr. Knowles has a delinquency concerning his child support obligation to Ms. Alexsandra Wright,” Mathew’s spokesman Ken Harris stated. “At this point, Mr. Knowles’ financial advisers indicate that he is current concerning that obligation.”

In keeping with this assesment, Mathew has every intention of making his next support payment that is supposedly before the end of month. Ken added, that there’s no chance that Mathew would ever have skipped one of his monthly payments.

“Mr. Knowles takes his obligation related to the support of his son very seriously,” Ken explained. “To that end, Mr. Knowles has consistently provided support during all periods for which he has been legally obligated.”
