Keep Your Mind
I was at my mother-in- laws house when I started this song. I wrote this song in her dining room. Man she can sing. You can shout!
Lyrics: ” I don’t do it for the fame don’t do it for the money. I am a soldier in this battle. Refuse to lose the war. I may have dropped my shield, but I still got sword.”
I wrote that song inspired by the people of Lagos Nigeria. There were 700,000 people worshiping God until 6 in the morning. I was so inspired by them. I have never seen anything like that in my life. That was my declaration that I can go on. There are times when we as believers when we drop our shields allow some of the darts that the enemy is throwing our way to penetrate. us That was me admitting that I may have dropped my shield, but I still have words of God in my heart. You can still survive if you keep the word in my heart. I will still him serve him.You will get up and you will go on. This life is not easy. This journey is not easy. You go on. You go on.
