Evelyn Lozada has pledged to turn over a new leaf, and she’s putting her words into actions with a foundation for victims of domestic abuse.
The “Basketball Wives” star who was known for her fiery personality and willingness to throw down in fisticuffs will soon be launching Pain Is Not Love.
“I get emails every single day from women who are still with their abusive partner and they’re like, ‘I need help,’” she told Latina magazine.
Domestic violence is an issue close to Evelyn’s heart following her 2012 altercation with Chad Johnson. The two had been married for less than two months when Chad allegedly head-butted Evelyn during an argument. The battered reality TV star called for help and was eventually taken to the hospital.
