Ingredients

  • 1 24-ounce can Bruce’s Yams (or any brand of yams you like)
  • 1/4 cup white or brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup yam syrup, from can
  • 1/4 cup butter

Instructions

  • Place yams in shallow baking dish.
  • Combine syrup from can, sugar and butter in saucepan,
  • Begin stirring to boil to thicken.
  • Pour sauce over yams.
  • Bake in 350-degree (F) oven for 20 to 30 minutes, basting frequently.
