Travis Harkins has a frightening story to tell. He shared his story last year, but felt compelled to come back and really hit the ball out the park, because he wants you to know that, “Hell is real!”
Watch his testimony:
This is my in depth testimony of experiencing hell. After several people asked me for more details I decided to write down the experience so I could describe the event in more clarity.
Now, that you have heard him, here are few tings to contemplate.
Hell is generally defined as the eternal fate of unrepentant sinners after this life.
This is my in depth testimony of experiencing hell. After several people asked me for more details I decided to write down the experience so I could describe the event in more clarity. Hell’s character is inferred from biblical teaching, which has often been understood literally. Many faiths have different interpretations of hell. In ancient Jewish belief, the dead were consigned to Sheol or the grave, to which all were sent indiscriminately.
According to many Catholic traditions. The concept of eternal punishment defines hell as a state involving definitive self-exclusion from communion with God: We cannot be united with God unless we freely choose to love him. But we cannot love God if we sin gravely against him, against our neighbor or against ourselves: “He who does not love remains in death. Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. ” Our Lord warns us that we shall be separated from him if we fail to meet the serious needs of the poor and the little ones who are his brethren. To die in mortal sin without repenting and accepting God’s merciful love means remaining separated from him for ever by our own free choice. This state of definitive self-exclusion from communion with God and the blessed is called “hell. ”
In most Protestant traditions, hell is the place created by God for the punishment of the devil and fallen angels ( Matthew 25:41), and those whose names are not written in the book of life ( Revelation 20:15). It is the final destiny of every person who does not receive salvation, where they will be punished for their sins. People will be consigned to hell after the last judgment.
